Becoming Part of the Airbus Supply Chain

This briefing will focus on contracting with aircraft manufacturer Airbus, which sources about $10 billion a year from US companies, making it the number one export-customer of the U.S. aerospace industry. Procurement officials from Airbus will discuss the company’s procurement strategy and discuss how U.S. companies can become part of its supply chain. In December 2010, Airbus Americas and EADS-North America created a joint U.S. Sourcing Office, at Airbus Americas’ headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.
