IMEC Continuous Improvement Series

Join IMEC (Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center) for the Winter 2011 Continuous Improvement Series beginning January 28th in Rockford, IL. The primary focus of this effort is the continuous elimination of waste in the company's business processes. Implementing Lean practices involves changing a work area or a business process to maximize efficiency, improve quality and safety, eliminate unnecessary motion and inventory, and save time and resources.

By completing the eight courses in the Continuous Improvement Series, participants will have the knowledge, tools and application examples required to begin a Lean transformation.

The eight courses in the series include:
Lean Manufacturing Overview with Simulation - Jan 28
Lean Leadership / Change Management - Feb 4
Value Stream Mapping - Feb 11
5S / Workplace Organization - Feb 11
Quick Changeover - Feb 18
Pull / Kanban System - Feb 25
Total Productive Maintenance - Feb 25

Fees for the series are $995 per company seat and include lunches and all training materials. While it is recommended that the same individual attend all sessions, participants from one company can vary based upon session topic.
